Born on the island of Guam and raised in the heart of small-town Colorado, Tara’s journey is anything but ordinary. After her dad left the military, her family landed in Eaton, CO—where big dreams had to fight their way out of small-town limits. Tara made her escape to Los Angeles, diving headfirst into the world of beauty. She sharpened her skills in makeup and hair school, even assisting on the hit show Nip/Tuck—a glimpse into the high-stakes glamour of Hollywood. But her roots and her grit pulled her back to Colorado, where she started humbly at JCPenney’s salon floor.
Then came the leap. With a few thousand dollars in savings, maxed-out credit cards, and a fire no bank could finance, Tara launched 303 Salons—a brand built on hustle, heart, and an obsession with excellence. Now with over 1,500 five-star reviews, it’s more than a salon. It’s a sanctuary. A statement. A movement.
From the moment you step through the doors, 303 is designed to make stylists and clients feel like the absolute best version of themselves. I am a 2013 Aveda graduate, but years into my career and I am still just as passionate for this industry! I am committed to providing a superior experience for my guests. I want you to love your healthy hair! I prioritize continuing education and staying relevant with the ever-changing trends. My certifications include Redken Certified Color Correction and Bellami Pro Master Hair Extensionist. I am obsessed with custom blended blonding, also never afraid of a color correction! My favorite thing to do behind the chair is give my guests maximum confidence and positive self image!

Hi, my name is Christina. I am a Colorado Native, born and raised. My mother was a hairdresser, I was raised in the salon environment, and it has always been second nature for me. My senior year of high school, I attended a vocational program affiliated with my school, which allowed me to attend Cosmetology school for my last year. I started working behind the chair by the time I graduated, in 2003. I furthered my career behind the chair for the next 12 years. In 2014, my son Hudson was born, and I had the opportunity to stay home and raise him. I love making people feel like the best versions of themselves, and seeing the power of looking great, and feeling great! I always want everyone to leave my chair feeling better than when they sat down. Creating lasting relationships and connecting on a deeper level with clients is the best part of my job! I love doing all types of hair, and am always up for a challenge. I love curating an effortless, lived in blended balayage. Growing up, I did all of my friends’ hair and makeup for special occasions and I knew this career was something I wanted to pursue. I feel very blessed in my career from going to shows in New York, studying Redken alongside amazing artists & now being at 303 Salon LoHi! My goal is to always create a welcoming space for each client to learn about their hair, and love it! Hi, my name is Magdala Kennedy but everyone calls me Mags for short. I moved here this year from Maryland where I worked in a Redken Elite Salon for 4 years. I love being in a fun, trendy salon environment that 303 salon offers!!! I also love the lived in natural balayage look for a low maintenance lifestyle and all things color. I graduated from Maryland’s Aveda Institute in 2017 and have been behind the chair since. The best part about moving to Denver has been all the amazing stylists and clients I have met along the way. It’s such a special career where you can help someone look and feel their best. I totally believe in the look good feel good mentality.
